im still trying to get out of Ma whether she got the Pandora bracelet or not , but shes making up this game of "you waited too late to tell me you wanted that before i got you what I did " urgh . I know she got the jewerly and If she didnt , im returning it to get the bracelet . but at least I know its not Hanson bamboozie tickets (however that would be a GREAT replacement ) .
other than thaT i've still got wrapping to do .
thats about it . about to try out face book on the new net book aNd wish Mandy a HAPPY birthday --she turned 23 yesterday . such a baby graduate student . haha . but I love and wish her so much . she needs to go see Taylor Hanson with me someday if that chance ever comes .

(this is also my first entry on my new net book computer ) i got mad at my dinosaur down stairs and decided to give this a try .
all of cliches couklld define this year for me : "dreams do come true " , "Never Give uP " , be careful what you wish for -you might get it better than you imagined ; but Mis from Tulsa is my favorite " your life is complete " . ok enough builfd y'er uP _ meeting mr Taylor Hanson was also my wish for 12 long years -and there I was standing in front of him at

the stage of the Little Tulsa threatre in Tulsa OKlahoma ; May 16th 2009 at Approx . 530 pm !

I remember mostly my butt shaking with Nerves ; I almost looked at Zac in a HELP ME !stance , but I knew since I was finally there , It was useless to just give up . then I went for it with everything I had inside of me : "thank you for playing Never Let go " I said .Taylor smiled on . Looking into Taylors eyes was something I had dreamed of since I saw him in the MmmBop video . first I thought what we all Taylors -ites think " he is SO BEAUTIFUL /GORGEOUS ! " ITS really true --Tv doesnt do him justice . then he remained quiet because silly me thought of nothing else to say . but at least I shook his hand . and hearing Never Let go live was the best ever! and the biggest surprise up til now I have ever known --thanks again Taylor !

Washington Dc Hanson members event /Taylor meeting 2 : Oct 18th 2009 _ this one I completely froze . but It allowed Taylor to finally talk to me . :" thank you for coming " he finally has the courage to say . I will Never forget that ever .THis time tho, Taylor Wanted to shake my hand --it was the most amazing handshake I have ever had -long aND firm . then came the other surprise I have waited forever for : I got in the moe group picture bedside Taylor .
there are no words to describe how greatfuL I am for Ike changing his mind : "I think Lindsay should be on the second step cause shes taller " thats right Ike and I wasnt complAINING . in faCt a lot of My Taylor loving Friends also got to stand beside him for their moes pictures in Washington as well : Kerri White , Katie Wanta and even with Me , Olivia Sterling . so I was happy for all of us Taylor has come from his shell finally .

August 1st 2009 -talking to Alton brown of Good Eats time 2 : " whats your name ? " Ab you mean you want MY NAME for the autograph ? sure "Its Carrie ; C-A-R_R-I-E . " the best ever . and for the pic he suggested "why dont we just lean towards Carrie " hha its great .

well Al and I have had quite the uneventful weekend . we hAVe watched no less than 8 movies and were working on our second for today now . we are resigned to ordering pizza because we are tired of Beef AND macoroni & frozen chicken pot pie . but all in all it has been fun . lots of time to just plaY games and be together . I have to leave tommorrow tho because the snow is worse where I live . we have 18 inches and the air is cold enough to freeze everything .
hoping to have a change of scenery if Al does her date tonight .

well im going to ALis after all .I dont know with the impending snow Predictions whether we will make it to the Avator premiere or not , but it should be fun none the less . If nothing else , we can cook , watch tv/movies and play games together . and im looking forward to being with Als friends tonight . this always means alot to her -Me being a part of her "friend group " . But Honestly I miss Dave Hahn . he was the coolest . but I have to digress .

its definitely time for a new computer . the Internet is playing the slow game again . any way I finally have some good job news . Jackson Hewitt tax service answered the phone and I aM signed up for tax training the Week of January 4th . kinda of excited . I cant believe the thing I hate the most is what im training to do . but hey it is paid training . even if I dont pass the class I get paid for trying . thats a start to something . we had interesting guest at Reach today . he was disabled and stuttered worst than me . but we all pitched in and tried to him him the best that we could . I think he trusted me more than anyone --he kept looking to me for direction and he talked to me more . thats a gift that almost had me in tears .
ok thats it have to work on the room before we have cake for Maces Birthday .

exciting Hanson and Carrie news to report --(And No Taylor and I ARENT getting married ) Hanson has just annouced that are playing 5 shows BEFORE THeir appeearance at the Bamboozie Festival In New York in April/May 1 2010 ! So sad I cant go again , but I know the bigger tour will come later ; I just hope i can make it to a show while working . I know God always finds a way .
as for the News about me --havent been to Dors Job search in a while , but Jackson Hewitt called me back about tax training today starting in January.
at least its a start to something . hopefully its positive . I am calling them back tommorrow after Reach definitely .

so woot .com had a deal on Sunday on a Gateway 2G net book computer I couldnt refuse . so I got it . im so bad . but at least I will have a another Toy to replace this slow thing . but I hope to keep that as free of viruses as I can. it will be a challenge tho because its the type of Computer you just use the internet .
And my email says my HAnson members event shirt is being shipped soon . I cant wait Visting Allison at her place hopefully this weekend --if I get my roon set up for the new loot in time . we are going to Avator (James'camerons new thriller-3D movie ) on Sat night ---that shall be interesting too .

I got my Hanson christmas present for myself last night --the member events 09 shirt and the charm for my mic bracelet . I didnt get the gift wrAp tho --its never tickled my fancy . looking forward to go to the mall with Tasha today -Im asking for Adam Lambert's new cd from her for christmas ( its kind of a way of getting her back for buying her Def Leppard 's "Hysteria " when we were younger ! ) I really want to get her Tinted Windows cd , but I know she wont pick that out . she'll want some counntry one or I might get her Faith Hill's Perfume --we shall see . (plus I have a bag full of Treats ready to go she doesnt know about )

I think my memorable concert was the Hanson fan club event I went to in Tulsa (2009 . Of course I met Taylor and he solo'd for me -my 2 dreams of twelve years on the same DAY . -it doesnt get better than that for me .

2nd is definietely my Mariah Carey concert in 2003 such a dream in truth .
Im so excited to go out with Tasha tommorrow cause im stuck at home with mom today .

What are you most passionate about and why?

I am passionate about music because it has changed my life . it brings me joy and hope in everyday , no matter how depressed or happy I feel . without the sounds and inspiring words , I know I'd want to be dead now . I am so glad that my family passed down an appreciation of music and so graciously given me the opportunities to perform for them . those memories are some of the closest to my heart . of course the closest musical memory to me is my hanson and Mariah Carey concerts ., singing-along with my two idols and watching them sing --its an incrediable gift .but Meeting Taylor tops it all . ever since I was a kid I actually wanted to meet him more than Mariah . its still so Unbelieveable to me thats it happened now TWICE !

I wouldnt be born if my parents had succumb to that pressure . My dad almost lost his opportunity to become a deacon because he and my mom were childless . I think whether or not to have children should be the couples choice : they will be the raising the children . I think that if I hadnt come to be, my parents might have been a childless family ; Im ok with that because I feel they had the right to decide on their own whether to have children or not . It wasnt the Roman catholic churches decision to say "you cant become a deacon because youre not having kids ". prEACHing and being a parents are two different things and to me , they should not depend on each other .
it finally was dependent on how devoted to his faith my dad truly was --im so happy for him .
any way i got on today to say happy 1st birthday to Viggo MoriAH Hanson (Taylors son #3 ) ! I think it was today or Yesterday --:)

I guess 75 $ was too much .I may also see if leaving Sat . morning would be any cheaper .. but Ma said we 'd also had the weather to worry about . shes right --boston could be blizzard conditions in Jan '10 and the snow could wreck the whole thing . so I have be content with just seeing the Utube videos and I guess thats ok by me . but Colleens going and Sheryl may go --I was thinking last night --what if Sheryl could send for me ? but I doubt she'd have time pick me up at the airport and scurry Jess away for the show . its a direct flight after all . Great but def rainy day in New york Yesterday

first off we began the day trying out stores not in our home town . (Lascoste , Esprit ) then we went to see the Rocka feller center Christmas Tree . (pretty despite the rain ) then we went to H&M and I got some funky and sparkly head bands . then we had a great lunch at an Irish pub --it was raining so hard by then that we were just as thankful to sit some place dry and to eat . we had a great meal . then we started the treck down midtown Matt . to Macys . Despite having 8 floors , around the holiday's its always packed . but its really cool say you went . I got a really cute Pink reusuable tote bag .
After we left for the bus , it started to sNow ! despite MAcys being 10 blocks til our drop point , it felt like an eternity because of the crowds and the snow kept blinding me , getting between my glasses . Sucked is putting it midly . but it was all in a great day . and something Hansony : I saw the Nokia theatre sign . wow you NYc fansons are required to camp before the show on a busy block ! thats probably where the crowd was the worst ; right before Broadway . I almost lost dads hand --but thankfully we stayed together !
ok later and I got a new Ipod today. I got the new video one thats 8gbs and I got a pink one ! im gonna have fun loading that up for sure Im up to 3 gs . (its kind of my Christmas gift to myself i guess . ) I also going to try and Load some of Anna's movies on it --can u imagine watching my girl on the beach ? cant wait !

well I saw Nick Jonas' and his new band , the Administration on the Grammy NOds concert last night . I wont say it was better than Tinted Windows , but thats close . as Ive been saying about Taylor all Year , Im so proud of both Taylor and Nick for being the ones to say , "I can be more of a musician that just a Hanson or Jonas brother " . The Late Micheal Jackson did the same thing when he released "Off the Wall" and became a widely successful solo artist --thats I want Taylor to do , but thats getting ahead of my self . The Administration's first cd comes in Feb , 2010 and I already cant wait . And happy Birthday to Anna C ( my girl ) --I hope to buy and see IN the Loop at some point when it comes out in Jan .
im going to check out cabs today when I get back --hopefully Tasha and I will do our christmas shopping this weekend .

well considering I met my idol from the band this year, has to be Mmmbop by Hanson , old school *nsync songs(I'm listening to "Drive myself Crazy" @the moment ) and other classic pop songs that are too numerous to mention in a single LJ entry . I have loved Mb for 12 years .
Mmmbop just makes me happy . through all the tough times in my life , it has always been the ray of sunshine that comes shining back through after the storms of life . and Nsync was a great group of humble guys despite their insane fame 4 years straight . rest in peace to my old math friend Alicia Cox , the sweetest Nsync fan I ever knew :)
and to Shannon Bs I miss you like crazy --and thank you for ALWAYS BElieving that Taylor was within my reach .

job searching update .

well its seems all Ucp and Susan wants to do is mirror Jeff Fenster and Hansons horrific 40 month ordeal with Island /Def jam Records /Universal music . Beth once again informed me that it take longer than January '10 for the new supportive work program to be designed . im not ready Tay to drive from the cliff yet , but im dang close . she has had over 8 months to do something . so WHY hasnt she ? I have no idea . But Beth said we'd give them til Christmas and talk then .
I want to give demographical info and my "Need a Little help " business plan to show this program is so desperately needed , but im not sure i am allowed to . im also thinking of doing new potential customers /demographical research for it . something has to jolt the progress of this thing . I refuse to give up til it does .
other than that life is good . Maggie suggested that i go the finance route , since the office assitant thing isnt working out at the moment . so im applying for tax training at 2 local firms . I signed up for Jac. Hs today and im calling HR block tommorrow . wish me luck .

On Saturday I returned to Aunt Kathies and Allison and I ended up watching 3 movies over the course of the day . 27 Dresses , Marley and Me , and we went out to see "the
Blind side"wth TIm mCGraw and Sandra Bullock . All the movies were fun to watch .
then once the Twins And Steve and Meghan left to fly home , Uncle Rick took us to Fudds for a hamburger --that was a nice break from the turkey of thanksgiving .
then I stayed to sleep at ALis new condo for the first time . it was interesting . her new king bed is as a tall as Taylor; i made it . thats all that matters . but I loved it and Im looking forward to our lives there .

thats it for now . have to make some transportation calls .

now that we got all the mushy stuff from the way , I have to say yesterday
ay was one of the best turkey days ever .
we had great time playing with all the kids and visiting with the adults .. The Robeys and Beth and sean even stayed a bit longer than usual too .
BUT the part I thought was the most fun
was hanging with Patti and Sydney and josh when most of the family had left ... Uncle Rick put on his sonos surround music and the kiddies and us danced til we dropped . it was so fun to just watch . Sydney is this crazy bundle of energy --always responding to any kind of percussion stimuli or music around . and at one point she was even holding Steve 's Hawaiian Ukele the right way trying to play it . that was so cute .
but cutest came when she put her arms out from her dad and wanted me to hold her --and guess what Sheryl ? I CAN ! I got tired fast , but at least I wasnt at risk dropping her . Then she hugged me good night --insane/ Aww .

thats right up there with all my Taylor stuff this year Syd --some day you'll understand and relate to what I mean . And Steve had his
friend SCott Paymer over and we had a little concert with the player piano --that was a great and relaXING conclusion to the day after Syd and Josh went to bed . Josh is such a social bug and talks like crazy and he loves to have someone read to him --its so adorable !

And Im staying at Alis new condo tommorrow night while MOm & dad
stay and JIm and Dixie to do the Christmas letters --Looking forward to being to ourselves for the first time .. so excited .

I go to mY Aunt Kathies every year for thanksgiving . minus the year we went out to the south Mt . Inn . I like the tradition Turkey /stuffing /mashed potatoes line up --I consider the holidays my 2 days of the year to splurge with the carbs . Well I had a shock at Reach Yesterday : Veronica Chaney came in for Crisis help . I succeeded tho in her not noticing who I was .
Mr O'Rouke (Tim ) helped her . She needed an ID . she said that she could not even apply for food stamps without one . in a way for the first time in my life I feel bad for Vennee --shes got minimum educatiOn im assuming , lives on her own and has no prerequisites to find a job . I guess she figured out the hard way that life isnt ALL about Johnathan Taylor Thomas any more .

well job seaRCHIng is slow but coming along . Beth Informed yesterday that the New UCp minimum supportive work program will not be considered or designed til the first of the new Year ( January 2010 ) . I just hope they follow through with it . but at least I know my interest and needs are pushing it through the Distribution channel --the KInd of marketing we call "word of mouth " or "customer requested " . thats how the mmmbop single (before I-Tunes ) believe it or not was created -enough of us kids asked "can we get a copy of what/ "that song with the catchy chorus " ? lol .
we heard on the radio and Mercury records answered us with the hardest $4 cd to find in the spring of 1997 !
ok enough marketing lecture -- im looking foward to thanksgiving and visting with Steve and twins more Tommorrow --they are such a pleasant bunch !

so mOM and Dad arent going to New york with Jim and D. now cause Dixie broke her leg again . but they are going in Feb before J&Ds Nile cruise . which means I have a choice --Ican either I hope Im still in job search mode in Feb or learn how to use the County commuter . we shall see what happens .
the good news --Dad got his value check for the Prius and is hopefully officialty buying the green car he has on contract soon . hooray its almost over --only the trial to go in January .
